1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MTShare, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What MTShare Does

MTShare creates universal links that redirect users to music on their preferred streaming platform. We do not host any music content - we simply link to content on third-party platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

3. Your Responsibilities

When using MTShare, you agree to:

  • •Only share links to content you have the right to share
  • •Not use the service for illegal purposes
  • •Not abuse the service (spam, automated scraping, etc.)
  • •Keep your account credentials secure

4. Content Policy

You are responsible for the content you share. If content linked through MTShare is deemed abusive, offensive, illegal, or violates third-party rights, we reserve the right to:

  • •Remove the offending links
  • •Disable your account
  • •Report illegal content to authorities if required by law

5. Intellectual Property

MTShare does not claim ownership of any music content. All music, album art, and related metadata belongs to their respective rights holders. We simply provide a linking service.

6. Third-Party Services

MTShare integrates with third-party music streaming services including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and Deezer. By using MTShare, you acknowledge that:

  • •These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies
  • •We display metadata and artwork provided by these platforms' APIs
  • •Availability of content on each platform is determined by the platform, not MTShare
  • •We are not responsible for changes to third-party services that may affect MTShare functionality

Songlink/Odesli API

MTShare uses the Songlink/Odesli API to help match and link music across different streaming platforms. Songlink/Odesli is a service provided by Linktree Pty Ltd. By using MTShare, you also agree to Songlink/Odesli's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

API Terms of Use

MTShare provides a public API for accessing universal music link data. By using the MTShare API, you agree to the following additional terms:

  • •You must not exceed reasonable rate limits or use the API in a way that degrades the service for others
  • •You must not use the API for automated scraping, data harvesting, or building a competing service
  • •You must not misrepresent MTShare data as your own

Attribution Requirement

Any application, website, or service that uses the MTShare API must display the following attribution in a visible location:

The attribution must link to https://mtshare.net and be reasonably visible to end users. Failure to include proper attribution may result in API access being revoked.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep MTShare available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

MTShare is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost data, service interruptions, or third-party actions.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of MTShare after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
